White House Announcement About Vote Recount is Crushing Blow to Last Remaining Hope of Hillary Victory

Trump's presidency isn't even official yet. But that hasn't stopped his opponents from demanding a vote recount in Wisconsin, a blue state he won.
The leading voice in the recount is the Green Party's 2016 presidential candidate, Jill Stein.

Yet, Stein's voice didn't catch as many ears as she might have hoped during the race. She obtained a little over a million votes, which is about 1% of the popular vote.
Stein said of the recount:
“After a divisive and painful presidential race, reported hacks into voter and party databases and individual email accounts are causing many American to wonder if our election results are reliable. These concerns need to be investigated before the 2016 presidential election is certified. We deserve elections we can trust.”
Trump's defeated opponent, Hillary Clinton, denies that there was any foul play with the election results. But her team is still joining Stein in the recount process in Wisconsin. And if there are recounts in Pennsylvania and Michigan, they will join those efforts, too.
The chances of a state flipping are slim. And now the Obama administration is weighing in on the matter. But they're not in the corner you'd expect.
Politico reported that:
The Obama administration said it has seen no evidence of hackers tampering with the 2016 presidential election, even as recount proceedings began in Wisconsin.
“We stand behind our election results, which accurately reflect the will of the American people,” a senior administration official told POLITICO late Friday.
“The federal government did not observe any increased level of malicious cyber activity aimed at disrupting our electoral process on election day,” the official added. “We believe our elections were free and fair from a cybersecurity perspective.”
In other words, Hillary Clinton's dreams of being president just took an even bigger blow. And from the administration that promoted and defended her White House run. Ouch.
