There are plenty of reasons to visit Finland: The sunlit evening skiing, the saunas, the gorgeous views of the Northern Lights, the food scene, etc.

Here’s one that isn’t on that list: Finland’s Muslim population is the most likely to join ISIS, according to a recent study from the National Bureau of Economic Research.

Max Galka of the Metrocosm blog crunched the data and came up with this map showing where ISIS recruitment appears to be most effective. In general, the rates are the highest in the developed western countries, with Finland topping the list.

As you can see here, Belgium, Ireland and Sweden round out the top four. Interestingly, the same number of ISIS recruits have traveled from Finland as have from Pakistan, which has a Muslim population 4,000 times the size of the much smaller Nordic country.

The U.S. is relatively low on the list, coming in at 36, between Moldova and Tajikistan

“The finding is consistent with several other studies that have found overwhelmingly negative views of ISIS in majority-Muslim countries,” Galka wrote, adding that the fighters tend to come from countries where Muslims are culturally isolated.

Contrary to popular belief, economics do not appear to be the driving factor in who decides to join. Instead, it's the countries with high economic development and low income inequality that create a larger percentage of ISIS fighters, the data shows.

Iran expands cyber warfare forces, attacks critical Western infrastructure

Amid Iran's recent demonstration of its military capabilities including the test-firing of ballistic missiles, which have drawn harsh criticism in the West and resulted in economic sanctions, a group of cyber warfare experts under the direct command of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps has significantly increased its operations in recent months.
The fingerprints of the hacker organization that calls itself “Rocket Kitten”, whose IP addresses lead directly to Iranian army command, were discovered again on Tuesday, this time within the computer control system of one of the most sensitive infrastructure facilities in Central Europe.
The advanced persistent threat attack collected information from the organization’s systems and sent it slowly and systematically to Tehran. American information security companies, including ones with R&D centers in Israel, recently succeeded in identifying the developers of the malware and released a number of worrying conclusions this week:
1. The hackers operated by the Iranian security forces and intelligence have been split up into different units, so they are departmentalized and it is difficult to infiltrate them on a daily basis.
2. The cyber warfare specialists are using unique tools developed in Iran so they do not have an identifiable signature, making it very hard to locate viruses and other methods of infiltrating systems.
3. A large portion of the approximately 2,000 missions by the hackers targeted Saudi Arabia, the US and domestic targets within Iran, and only a small amount were directed against Israel.
4. A large amount of the missions were aimed at preparing for future attacks on major infrastructure targets such as power stations, dams, airports, seaports and factories processing dangerous materials.
5. Tehran has become an exporter of malware, including to Hizballah, Yemeni rebels and the Syrian army.
One of the information security companies called Iran “the new China” in light of the number of hackers, the scale of the resources invested in cyberattacks on Western infrastructure, and its reliance on universities and on young citizens skilled in the use of computer technologies and social networks.

LONDON, United Kingdom – Tens of thousands of documents containing the names, addresses, phone numbers and family contacts of jihadis who joined the Islamic State group have been given to Sky News, the broadcaster said Wednesday.

Sky reported that a disillusioned former member had handed over the documents on a memory stick that had been stolen from the head of the group’s internal security police.

The documents are forms that IS recruits had to fill out in order to be accepted into the organization, and contain information on nationals from 51 countries, the broadcaster reported.

“Sky News has informed the authorities about the haul,” the news channel wrote on its website. No comment was immediately available from Britain’s interior or foreign ministries.

Some of the documents reportedly contain the information of previously unknown jihadis located across northern Europe, the United States and Canada, as well as in North Africa and the Middle East, it said.

Richard Barrett, former global terrorism operations director at MI6, wrote on Twitter that the records would shed an “invaluable light” on who had joined IS.

“This is going to be an invaluable resource for analysts,” he added.

Copies of the documents broadcast by Sky News showed that recruits would have to answer 23 questions including on their blood type, mother’s maiden name, “level of sharia understanding” and previous experience.

Some of the names in the documents are of fighters who have been already identified, such as Abdel-Majed Abdel Bary, a former rapper from west London who once posted an image of himself on Twitter holding a severed head.

Another named is Junaid Hussain, a cyber-operative for IS from the British city of Birmingham who was killed in a drone strike last August, and 21-year-old Reyaad Khan who appeared in a recruitment video and was killed last year.

The documents were obtained from a man who uses the name Abu Hamed, a former Free Syrian Army member who joined IS.

He stole the memory stick of documents and handed them over in Turkey to a journalist, explaining that he left because Islamic rules had collapsed inside the group.

Hamed claimed the group had given up on its headquarters in the Syrian city of Raqqa and was moving into the desert.

Artikel jag skrev maj 4, 2014 angående Bildts  kärlek för det Muslimska Brödraskapet.

Svenska tidningar skiner med ovanstående rubriker, utan det minsta om det faktum att Muslimska Brödraskapet är en ren terroristorganisation. Här ett utdrag från länk:

Att, som de svenska blaskorna, gråta över ödet för medlemmar av MB som ser döden som högre än livet, tycer på en enorm okunnighet. Eller har de läst den svenska Wikin, som bara förhärligar dem och hänvisar till Hjärpe och Gardell. Åtminston gjorde den det tills för ett par år sedan när jag försökte lägga till stycket om "kritik" från den engelska Wikin. Några rester är kvar av det.....

Michelle and I send our best wishes to everyone celebrating Pesach in the United States, in the State of Israel, and around the world.

One of Passover’s most powerful rituals is its tradition of storytelling – millions of Jewish families, friends, and even strangers sitting together and sharing the inspirational tale of the Exodus.  Led by a prophet and chased by an army, sustained by a faith in God and rewarded with deliverance, the Israelites’ journey from bondage to the Promised Land remains one of history’s greatest examples of emancipation.  This story of redemption and hope, told and retold over thousands of years, has comforted countless Jewish families during times of oppression, echoing in rallying cries for civil rights around the world.

Mah nishtana halailah hazeh?  For Michelle and me, this Passover is different from all other Passovers because it will mark our last Seder in the White House – a tradition we have looked forward to each year since hosting the first-ever White House Seder in 2009.  We will join millions around the world to celebrate redemption at God’s mighty hand and pray for those who still are denied their freedom.  We dip the greens of renewal in saltwater to recall the tears of those imprisoned unjustly.  As we count the 10 Plagues, we spill wine from our glasses to remember those who suffered and those who still do.  And as we humbly sing “Dayenu,” we are mindful that even the smallest blessings and slowest progress deserve our gratitude.

Passover gives us all a special opportunity to renew our belief in things unseen even as the future remains uncertain.  May this season inspire us all to rededicate ourselves to peace and freedom for all of God’s children. From our family to yours, chag sameach.

Bahraini minister: Gulf states want good relations with Israel

Bahrain’s Foreign Minister says Gulf states want good relations with Iran and Israel, but Iran is more of a threat right now.

Bahrain’s Foreign Minister, Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, recently suggested that the Gulf states were interested in relations with Israel.

The comments came in an interview on March 31 with the Saudi-owned Al-Arabiya TV that was translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI).

According to Al Khalifa, the goal behind the Gulf states' decision to cut ties with Iran and to designate Hezbollah as a "terror organization" was to send Iran and its satellites in the region a message that "we are serious in confronting them."

When asked whether Iran was more dangerous than Israel to the Gulf states, Al Khalifa stated that the Gulf states "wish to have good relations with both," but that the danger they are facing now comes from Iran which, he said, is “our biggest problem at this point in time.”

Bahrain, which in 2013 became the first Arab country to blacklist Hezbollah as a terrorist organization, last week published a list of 68 Islamist groups it classified as "terrorist", and that list yet again included Hezbollah.

Al Khalifa’s comments with regards to Israel are interesting, as they come amid reports about Israel having contacts with the Gulf states.

Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon said in mid-February at the Munich Security Conference in Germany that Israel was carrying out secret contacts with Arab countries in the Persian Gulf.

And last month it was reported that a top-level Israeli delegation that included a senior political figure visited Saudi Arabia, though further details could not be divulged.

Iran attempted to launch a satellite into orbit using one of its Simorgh intercontinental ballistic missiles on Tuesday but failed. According to Western intelligence sources that monitored the launch, the missile carrying the satellite failed to reach the atmosphere, fell to earth and crashed.
DEBKAfile's military sources point out that the Iranians attempted the launch the day before US President Barack Obama arrived in Riyadh for talks with Saudi King Salman and the other leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council member states. Tehran's goal was to overshadow Obama's visit, but it failed.

Jämför med floran av satelliter från Israel inser man hur oerhört mer avancerad deras teknologi är - och det gäller teknologi och vetenskap i allmänhet. Irans gnällande får dom att framträda som grannskapets översittare. Samtidigt som de har oljepengar och Obama gör sitt bästa för att stödja Irans terror- Iran använder inte alla Obamapengar till att höja landets välfärd precis.  Man har sett Irans misslyckade strävanden mot kärnvapentillverkning, som åtskilliga andra länder lyckats med. 

Israel och kärnvapen vet ingen riktigt även om Obama bladdrade för att riskera den israeliska befolkningens liv. Nu råkar många grunder till atom- och kärnfysiken vara framtagna av judar så - det de behöver tar de reda på själva utan att fråga Obongon. Man hoppas ju konstant att Israel inte berättar mer än vad som är nödvändigt att kommunicera med USAs armé, som är mycket mer Israelpositivt än Obamas administration.

Jag retar mej på svenska medias Obamakärlek och Israelhat. Nu är Obama och hans gelikar allt, som jag jämförde den svenska rapporteringen om Hillary och Trump, håller på att förlöjliga en i GP.  Kärringen talar om "Obamas storra kunskaper innan han började jobbet" och det var nästan roligt. Han hade inga och har visat sej inkapabel att lära.

Den svenska intelligensbefriade kommentaren: "Jag hoppas det, men då måste man nog vara beredd att köra över vissa länder.", dvs att de länder som inser att ett flöde av i stort sett obildade muslimer skulle snabbt förstöra dem - föraktas av Sverige. Det är direkt skrämmande att se hur politiker leker med befolkningen i de länder de antas vårda sej om.  Speciellt i klantregeringen i Sverige.
