Education Minister Naftali Bennett gave notice on Wednesday that he is relinquishing his seat in the Israeli parliament, and that Shuli Mualem, a fellow member of the HaBayit HaYehudi party, will occupy the seat. The resignation goes into effect on Friday morning, but he will retain his ministerial post.
